雲林縣立斗六國民中學
藝術是陶冶人心的工作，教育是培養藝術欣賞的工程，為落實學校藝術學習，培養學生藝術知能，陶冶生活情趣並啟發藝術潛能，斗六國中於民國97年成立美術資優方案班，102年正式成立美術專班，提供對美術有興趣的學子，最優質的學習管道。開辦至今，學生無論是版畫、水墨、水彩、書法、西畫、平面設計等，在全縣及全國美展與各項美術競賽中均名列前茅、屢獲佳績。
本校美術班在兼顧一般學科學習的原則下，定期在文化藝術展覽館舉辦美展、校外教學參觀、戶外寫生比賽、專題演講等，拓展學生視野；同時多元化課程著重在觀察訓練、媒材運用、邏輯強化與表現等多面向，透過專業師資的教學指導與藝術課程安排，讓這群具有美術長才特質的孩子，將紮實技法呈現於創作中，不斷精進在繪畫方面的技能與素養，培養孩子們接受挑戰、克服難關的能力！
我們尊重學生的創意，也接納學生不同的特質與適性發展，因此學生得以展現出各具特色的作品，讓學生不管將來要往純藝術或設計類科甚至往其他科系發展都能有良好的美學基礎，更讓學生深刻體會－生活即藝術，藝術即生活。
Art is the work of cultivating peoples hearts, and education is the project of cultivating art appreciation. In order to cultivate students artistic knowledge, cultivate the interest of life and inspire artistic potential, Douliu Junior High School prepared Art Class in 2008 and formally established Art Class in 2013.We provide students who are interested in fine arts with the highest quality learning channels. Since its inception, students not only have been among the best in the national art exhibitions and various art competitions, but also have repeatedly achieved good results in printmaking, ink painting, watercolor, calligraphy, western painting, graphic design, etc.
Douliu Junior High school regularly holds art exhibitions in the cultural center, educational excursions, outdoor sketching competitions, and ortistic speeches for Art Class. We hope to broaden students’ horizons, train their observations, apply artistic materials, and strengthen their logic thinking by professional teachers and diversified art curriculum arrangements. This way , Art Class students not only keep improving skills in painting but have the ability to overcome difficulties!
We respect the students’ creativity, and accept students distinguishing characteristics. Therefore, students can show their unique works, and have adaptive development. No matter they want to go to art, design or other departments in the future, they can have the aesthetic foundation and deeply understand --- life is art, and art is life.

美術班
本校依據十二年國民基本教育藝術才能專長領域課程綱要，立基國民教育課程，重視學生於藝術專長與普通課程兼備之基礎能力，藝術專長授課內容包括素描、水彩、水墨、書法、多媒材創作、創意表現、電腦繪圖等，兼顧創作與鑑賞領域，體驗、實作並重。學期中安排參觀展覽、邀請藝術家示範教學、參加國美館各項研習等多元化的學習活動，並積極參與地區各項藝文活動，落實藝術生活化。每年於文化觀光處陳列館舉辦學生作品展及出版畢業成果專刊，提升學生的創作水準及展覽經驗，並從互相觀摩學習中體驗創作之喜悅!
